Data Exclusivity Harming FDI

Israel's intellectual property laws are harming investment in the country, claims the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) in its newly released National Trade Estimate Report. Of particular concern is the country's data exclusivity provisions, which 'fall far short of the periods provided in OECD level economies,' and have resulted in R&D funding going to rival
