Viagra To Be Released OTC
February 2007 | Company Finance AlertUK-based retailer Boots is planning to sell anti-impotence drug Viagra (sildenafil) over-the-counter (OTC), and is currently piloting the scheme at three stores in Manchester. Presently, Viagra is only available via prescription. However, customers will have to conduct a short consultation with a pharmacist before receiving the drug and will be quizzed on their medical history, as well as being asked to submit their name and address and the details of their general practitioner (GP).
