Pharmaceutical Patents Applications On The Rise
February 2007 | Company Finance AlertThe World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) has announced a record year in terms of patent applications, with over 1,453,001 filed in 2006, a rise of 6.4%. Pharmaceuticals accounted for 10.4% of this total, just behind telecommunications (10.5%), which was the leading industry.
