Teva Reconsiders Biotech Investment
February 2007 | FDI AlertIsraeli drugmaker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries is seriously considering pulling out of a US$100mn biotechnology investment in Hungary because of the country's new drug subsidy framework. Several other foreign and domestic firms are making similar threats, and BMI believes there is a strong possibility that Teva will invest elsewhere because we think the Hungarian government is unlikely to amend the medicine pricing
