AstraZeneca Takes On MRSA

Anglo-Swedish drugmaker AstraZeneca is to invest US$100mn in its R&D centre in Boston, Massachussetts. The extra funding will be used primarily for research into new treatments for infections, including novel antibiotics. The 132,000 sq. foot extension will accommodate an extra 100 researchers.
