Diabetes Pressures Asian Health Sector
November 2006 | Industry Newsalth services in Asia could face collapse under the growing strain of diabetes, according to a recent study published in UK medical journal The Lancet. In 2003, approximately 194mn people had diabetes in Asia, with this figure expected to swell to 333mn by 2025.
