More Gloom For Takeda's R&D Pipeline
November 2006 | Company Finance AlertLeading Japanese drugmaker Takeda has announced another disappointment regarding its R&D pipeline. Following the discontinuation of development on diabetes compound TAK-654 in September, the company has terminated work on TAK-128. The compound had been in Phase II trials for diabetes, and was originally discovered by Mitsubishi Pharma.
