Pfizer Laments Market Conditions
October 2006 | Industry NewsAs the Spanish government is set to introduce its new cost-cutting reforms to the country's pharmaceutical sector, Emilio Moraleda, the local chief of Pfizer, has lamented the outlook for the market. The US drug major had sales of some EUR700mn (US$889mn) in Spain in 2005, but Moraleda notes that it can only expect to perform 'as well as possible under the circumstances' over the next couple of years.
