Pharmstandard Unveils IPO

Russia's leading drugmaker Pharmstandard has announced an initial public offering (IPO) of its shares, which is expected to take place before the end of 2006. Because it is a private company, any assessment of its market capitalisation is difficult, but BMI believes it is in the range of US$600mn to US$700mn.
