Corruption Scandal Hits DLO Scheme
November 2006 | Legal NewsA major corruption scandal has erupted in Russia after the head of the state medical fund and five other senior employees were arrested for allegedly accepting bribes from pharmaceutical distributors and misusing funds from the federal budget. BMI is not surprised at this development, after we recently described Russia as having the most the most corrupt healthcare system in Central and Eastern Europe.
