Novartis Looks To Biotech Sector
October 2006 | Company Finance AlertSwiss drugmaker Novartis may invest in Malaysia's biotechnology industry, after CEO Daniel Vasella reportedly expressed interest during a meeting with the country's Minister for Science, Technology and Innovations. Novartis is said to be evaluating Malaysia's rich biodiversity with the aim of producing novel treatments.
