Eisai Opens New R&D Unit

Japan's fourth-largest drugmaker, Eisai, has opened an R&D unit at the biotechnology research cluster in Kobe, Japan. The site will draw on the local research pool, specialising in developing new pharmaceutical products based on cellonomics, the study of cell interactaction.
