Novartis Plans New R&D Centre
November 2006 | FDI AlertSwiss drugmaker Novartis is planning to invest US$100mn in a research centre in Shanghai, in a vote of confidence for the country's emerging scientific infrastructure. Construction on the 38,000 square-metre facility will begin in 2007, and when completed it will employ 400 scientists.
