Government Slashes Drug Prices

The Indonesian health minister has lowered the prices of some 458 medicines in the country, in the largest move of its kind witnessed in the country. Drug prices in the country are exorbitantly high with only around a quarter of patients able to afford to fill their prescriptions. This is a phenomena that is being witnessed all over the world as drug prices are rising in accordance with countries' GDPs, and growing consumer income.
