Officials Pledge Free Healthcare Expansion
September 2006 | Industry NewsPresident Hugo Chavez of Venezuela has hailed an expansion of free healthcare services, mainly in deprived urban areas. Under the plans, 257 new doctor's offices and 108 diagnosis and rehabilitation centres will be opened, largely with the aid of medical personnel from Cuba.
