Tecnofarma Expands In Brazil, Boosts Output
September 2006 | Company Finance AlertLatin American pharmaceutical group Tecnofarma is to expand its Zodiac unit in Brazil, spending some BRL12mn (US$5.6mn) on acquiring new brands in the oncology segment. The company is adding new products aimed at the US$350mn cancer sector to its portfolio, following successful licensing deals with Chiron and Hexal, both units of Switzerland's Novartis, as well as with US giant Pfizer.
