Roche Boosts African Generic Invirase Output
September 2006 | Company Finance AlertSwiss drugmaker Roche has announced that it is to help three African companies produce one of its second-line HIV/AIDS drugs. Roche will provide the companies - South Africa's Aspen and Kenyan firms Cosmos and Universal - with the technical assistance to manufacture saquinavir, the generic versions of Invirase. As well as selling the drug in their home markets, the three companies will also be allowed to export it to other developing countries around the
