German Drug Firms Slam Healthcare Reforms
August 2006 | Legal NewsGerman pharmaceutical companies have strongly criticised a Health Ministry working paper on the healthcare reform draft legislation which could lead to price caps for newly launched branded drugs. In what they see as a blow to innovation, domestic companies Schwarz Pharma and Schering AG said that the limitations of pricing will lead to less money to fund the research and development of new medicines.
