Prescribing Errors Prompt Concerns
August 2006 | Industry NewsThe French medicines agency - Afssaps - has expressed concerns over a rise in prescribing errors, leading to calls for the accelerated implementation of e-prescribing, which is already being rolled-out in several other markets. The agency believes that most of the errors are due to doctors' poor handwriting and a lack of vigilance on the part of pharmacists when it comes to reading the scripts.
