Supreme Court Upholds Drug Re-Registrations
July 2006 | Legal NewsThe Mexican Supreme Court has upheld reforms that will require pharmaceutical companies to renew product registrations every five years. The measure, which also applies to diagnostics and medical devices, is seen as key to modernising the country's pharmaceutical market. Illicit registrations of copy products have continued in recent years, and sales of counterfeits remain widespread in Mexico.
