OTC Medicines In The Andean Region
July 2006 | Special ReportMedicines regulations in Venezuela are overseen by the Rafael Angel National Hygiene Institute, which is part of the Ministry of Health (MoH). Medicines laws for both Rx and OTC medicines are laid out in the Ley de Medicamentos, which was published in 2000, but did not come into full effect until the beginning of 2002.
