Central American Markets Growing
July 2006 | Industry NewsAccording to IMS data, Panama's pharmaceutical market expanded by 5.2% in 2005, with Costa Rica growing 11%. According to BMI estimates, the two markets were respectively worth US$190mn and US$250mn in the year. The data reflects Costa Rica's status as Central America's second-largest market after Guatemala - which is approximately twice as large.
