Poland Slashes Prices Of Reimbursable Medicines
July 2006 | Market Trend AnalysisBecause of unfavourable currency exchange rates, almost half of 2,500 products on Poland's reimbursement list had their prices reduced by 8% at the beginning of July 2006. The development - which should result in savings of PLN400mn (US$130mn) for the national insurance fund - has been welcomed by patients but strongly criticised by an industry leader.
