Spanish Drug Industry Laments Parallel Trade
August 2006 | Industry NewsSpanish drug industry federation Farmindustria has published new research into the country's parallel trade. The practice of exporting low-priced Spanish drugs to higher-priced markets within the EU - which is entirely legal under European regulations - has become so widespread that local shortages of vital medicines are becoming a significant problem.
