EMS Sigma Pharma And Monteresearch Enter Generics Deal

Brazilian generics company EMS Sigma Pharma and Monteresearch - an Italian drug delivery firm - have entered into R&D agreement covering bioequivalent generics. EMS paid Monteresearch EUR7mn (US$8.9mn) to increase its production capabilities in order to penetrate the lucrative US market.
