Chile Hails AUGE Healthcare Plan

Chilean health officials claim that 1.37mn people have been treated by the country's new AUGE public sector reimbursement scheme. The CLP153bn (US$190mn) per year programme has been fully operational for five months, but was first piloted in 2002.
