Renewed Speculation Over Japan's Sawai
June 2006 | Company Finance AlertLocal media sources have again claimed that the world's largest generic drugmaker, Israel-based Teva, is concisidering a bid for leading Japanese generics firm Sawai. Other international producers including Sandoz are also eyeing the market, which is set to rapidly improve its current 6% share of Japan's US$60bn annual drug sales.
