South Korea To Introduce Positive List
June 2006 | Market Trend AnalysisSouth Korea is planning to introduce a positive list for the reimbursement of pharmaceuticals under the National Health Insurance (NHI) scheme. The Health Ministry is aiming to have the new system in place in September, although this is likely to be delayed due to the opposition of industry groups. The government is looking to reduce the burden of drug spending, from 29% of the NHI budget in 2005 to 24% by 2010.
