The Indonesian government is encouraging the increased provision of generic drugs in order to make healthcare more accessible in the country. The Ministry of Health (MoH) recently implemented a new decree, which requires that any branded pharmaceutical product marketed in Indonesia must state its generic name directly beneath its trade name.
