Vietnamese MoH To Force Price Cuts
April 2006 | Company Finance AlertEarlier in the year, the Vietnamese government investigated drug pricing practices in the country after prices for some medicines had unauthorised increases of between 5% to 200%. The companies involved have claimed that price rises were necessary due to the expenditure involved upgrading production lines to adhere to GMP, while high oil prices and the deprecation of the US dollar against the Euro have raised costs.
