The Polish pharmaceutical market had been growing steadily over the last five years. However, this growth rate has recently slowed down, and BMI predicts that this trend will continue over the next five years. Growth in 2006 and 2007 may slow prior to the end of the transitional stage as older medicines are cleared from the supply chain and companies divert funds to ensure compliance with EU regulations.
