Teva Signals Pause In Acquisitions Quest

Teva has also received final approval for Azilect (rasagiline), its proprietary drug for Parkinson's disease, from the US FDA. European and Israeli regulators approved the drug in 2005, and large-scale clinical trials are also under way. Meanwhile, Teva will continue developing the drug with Japanese strategic partner Eisai, which has not yet decided whether to co-promote the drug in the US with the Israeli firm.
