Obcure Discovers New Obesity Treatment

Israeli drugmaker Obcure, which is a subsidiary of Bio Light Israeli Life Sciences Investments, has reported that it has made a new discovery concerning the treatment of obesity. The company was testing a new obesity medicine when researchers found that one of the individual compounds was twice as effective in combating the disease as the drug itself. As a result, the Obcure plans to develop a new product based around this compound. Industry sources have warned that although the findings are positive, the total drug development process could take up to ten years and cost hundreds of millions of dollars.
