Teva Gets Mixed News On Copaxone
March 2006 | Company Finance AlertGenerics giant Teva has reported disappointing trial results for an oral version of its blockbuster proprietary multiple schlerosis drug Copaxone. However, a further delay to the re-introduction of rival therapy Tysabri - developed by Ireland's Elan but withdrawn in February 2005 - could benefit the Israeli firm. However, the search for an orally-delivered, effective MS therapy continues, with both Copaxone and Tysabri only available for intravenous administration.
