J&J Acquires ColdBar
March 2006 | FDI AlertUS drugmaker Johnson & Johnson has acquired Israeli healthcare firm ColdBar for US$140mn. ColdBar manufactures collagen-based implants and has developed two new products to date, Ossix, which is for the dental market, and Evolence, an aesthetic treatment used for facial wrinkles. A number of products are currently being developed by the company for the urological, orthopaedic and other fields. Evolence is expected to be launched on the US some time in
