UAE Looking To Raise Health Budget
March 2006 | Company Finance AlertThe UAE is considering increasing its budget for healthcare. The Ministry of Health is currently working on a new three-year strategy and is hoping to increase spending. Other measures being considered include a closer working relationship between the public and private sectors. Also, the MoH is looking to establish a department for licensing hospitals, which will ensure that medical institutions maintain international standards, and is keen to make health insurance compulsory for every resident.
