Growth Of Swiss Market Slows
July 2006 | Market Trend AnalysisAs a result of government intervention, the value of the Swiss pharmaceutical market increased by only 3.5% in 2005, the lowest rise in ten years, and well below the global average of 7%. According to industry association Interpharma, the value of prescription medicines sold in the country was CHF4.19bn (US$3.42bn) last year, up from CHF4.05bn (US$3.30bn) in 2004.
