Bayer/Onyx's Nexavar Receives Swiss Approval
March 2006 | Product LaunchThe Swiss regulatory authority - Swissmedic - has approved Bayer and Onyx Pharmaceuticals' Nexavar (sorafenib) for the treatment kidney cancer. The drug is already approved in the US and awaiting registration in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Turkey and Mexico. Nexavar will compete with Pfizer's Sutent (sunitinib maleate) which is also a multi-kinase
