Poor Healthcare Provision Hinders Medical Device Sector

This is a strong indication that the population will not be able to afford high-tech medical devices and procedures. Neighbouring countries such as Thailand and Vietnam are more competitive in the sector due to increased government commitment to providing better healthcare for the population. We also highlight Myanmar's political regime as a major disincentive to investment.
