Impaired Reputation Presents Greatest Drawback To India's Clinical Trial Sector

Robust economic expansion and relative political stability will support development of the healthcare system. Over the next decade, we expect the government to take a greater role in the provision of medical services, such as the construction of quality clinics/hospitals and training of more medical professionals. Deterioration of already questionable ethical standards is the key downside risk to more clinical trials being undertaken in the world's second most populous country.
