By focusing on obtaining international standards and emphasising attributes such as its first-to-market generic capabilities, it is an appealing partner for multinational drugmakers looking to access the rich potential of the Gulf Levant region. However, there are other companies offering similar types of licensing deals operating from more popular destinations in the region, like the UAE. BMI expects most of Pharmaline's drug licensing deals to be exclusive to the Gulf Levant region.
