Outlook For CEE Declines As Drug Cost Containment Measures Impact Medium Term Projections
June 2011 | Industry Trend AnalysisBMI View: Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)'s attractiveness to drugmakers has declined. BMI's Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare Business Environment Ratings (BERs), which assess markets according to their risk/reward profile, reveal that the region's score decreased from 53.3 out of 100 in Q311 to 52.9 in Q411 - a contraction of 0.8%. Recent downward revisions to our 2012 projections for key markets have had a negative effect on our assessment of the region.
