Polfa Warszawa Continues Privatisation Process

BMI View: The availability for acquisition of Polish drugmaker Polfa Warszawa offers an attractive opportunity to pharmaceutical companies to expand their presence in a rapidly growing, high value drug market. Of the five bidders short-listed for the acquisition, BMI believes Actavis is the most likely to be able to develop the Polish firm - a key requirement of the state-owned holding company organising the privatisation. Actavis also has the financial capacity to outbid the smaller interested parties.
