Is The Business Environment Suitable For Drugmakers?

While we see some risks on the horizon, the election of President Juan Manuel Santos means we expect this view to continue. However, we caution that rising global risk aversion could well hamper fixed investment flows into the country, as could the rising political instability in some key regional economies. Nevertheless, business-friendly measures and sound monetary policy are likely to see the country remain one of the most attractive regional locations for foreign investors.
