Limited Growth Potential As Price Controls Take Effect In Late 2011

The government is preparing to introduce drug policy amendments in the latter half of 2011, which will result in moderate drug price contractions and the greater use of generic pharmaceuticals. Furthermore, the use of pharmacoeconomic analysis and a review of health insurance company activities is expected to moderate growth and limit drug consumption.
